Look at the brake disc warning light: usually whether the brake disc warning light on the dashboard is on or not is used as the basis for judging whether the brake disc should be replaced. Generally, the indicator light is off. When the brake disc fails or is excessively worn, the light is on and goes out after repair. When the warning light is on, the brake disc has been worn to the limit, and the braking effect has been reduced, which greatly affects driving safety. 3. Look at the thickness of the brake disc: Most brake disc products have wear indicators, that is, 3 small pits are distributed on the disc surface. Measure the depth of the pit with a vernier caliper to be 1.5mm. In other words, when the total wear depth of the double-sided brake disc reaches 3mm wear and complete wear, it is recommended to replace the brake disc in time. 4. Brake response and stroke: When the brake pads become thinner, the brake response of the car will also become slow. It is necessary to step on the brakes deeper and harder to achieve the previous braking effect.
